Daniela Pelzer, Head of Customer Service & Accounting
Born and raised in the beautiful Lower Rhine region, it was clear early on that I had to get out and see the world! That’s why I studied business administration with a focus on tourism in Cologne and Seville and then travelled Europe as a hotel buyer for various German tour operators. I first infected my husband with my passion for beautiful places and finally our two kids, who were delivered to us in a double pack;-). After a few stops in between, we are now living back in North Rhine-Westphalia and since 2019 I am responsible for our accounting and I take care of our Little Travel Society hosts.

Susanne Hoffmeister – Writer, Editor & Travel Scout
Even on my childhood road trips across Europe, my father had to take various detours through countries like Andorra, Liechtenstein or San Marino, just so I could add another country to my list. I also toured the world during my school and university years, including New Zealand, the US, Spain and Australia. As a product manager for the luxury brand of a large tour operator, I was able to get to know lots of dream places and hotels around the world. Today, I live with my husband and two sons in the south of Munich. For Little Travel Society, I have been searching for the best settings for your family holiday experiences since 2021.

Antonia Birk – Social Media & Community Manager
Before I became a mum of three children, I was a media documentarian for a Cologne TV production. My heart belongs to the Eifel, my longing to the world. When I’m on the road, I love to take pictures and post my experiences on my Instagram account Stadtlandeltern. As a long-time Little Travel Society reader, I finally “switched sides” in 2021 and have been answering for your questions on social media and creating the Little Travel Instagram Story ever since.

After spending every summer in the same Sicilian mountain village of my family, I decided: I want to travel! I started with Fuerteventura where I worked as a host entertainer and stayed in Rome for one year during my studies of Applied Cultural Science. After working many years as a product manager for vamos Reisen I started to work for the Little Travel Society in 2018 where I find for our readers beautiful places with a soul! Hanne Mack – Content & Community Managerin
Born in Romania, I always have the melody of the Romance languages in my ears, and also in the kitchen I love the south with everything that the sun makes so delicious there. My professional journey started in publishing – so I know my way around letters. After studying media marketing and working for an advertising agency, I implemented campaigns for companies in the interior design sector. Pretty much in the middle of Germany, on the picturesque “Mainschleife”, I live with my husband and two children and now hit the keys as an author for the Little Travel Society.

I grew up in Saarland as the daughter of a Sicilian, in the immediate vicinity of France. And latest by the time I had finished my Work & Travel stay in Canada, the travel bug really had gotten me. This is why – during my studies of communications science and my time as a PR consultant in an international agency – I travelled as much as possible. And we recently started discovering the world anew with our little daughter! How wonderful that I could now turn my passion into profession as an author for the Little Travel Society.

Janina Heckmann – Writer
From the Adriatic Sea in Albania to the beaches of Tasmania in Australia, I have followed this yearning around the globe. However, for my studies of cultural and media sciences in Berlin and Paris, I found myself immersed in the buzzing city life instead of waves. Today I live with my family in Freiburg. In the Black Forest, there is no sea but lots of green trees and high mountains. Fortunately, I passed on my wanderlust to my two little daughters. When we’re not packing our suitcases or our van, I am as an author for the Little Travel Society extending your travel bucket list with new destinations.

Travelscout Families (our location scouts)
Last but not least, may we introduce to your our most important big and small team members? Silvia and Simon with Ludwig and Helene, Armin and Sarah with Lia, Petra and Thomas with Julius and Luis, Sandra and and and… Thanks to all these great families we find you – the hidden gems!
Who are our readers?
Our readers are well-educated families with a big travel budget. Through targeted PR and adressing in social media we are getting into contact with this community. The content of our website and our blog appeals to a certain type of families – young (at heart), looking for something special, with many interests.
What holiday spots fit into our collection?
Hotels and holiday homes with charm where families with kids are welcome. We do not only list children´s hotels but mostly holiday accommodations with a certain extra where kids are ALSO welcome. We call it “child- and parentfriendly”. Sustainable hideaways will be especially welcome. Quality comes before quantity – hotels cannot “buy” into our collection.
What does it cost you?
We are remaining true to the motto “cobbler, stick to your last”. That means, we don´t want to have a booking engine on our website. We prefer to bring you and your guest into contact directly. We believe that a third child or the request for a water boiler don´t really fit into a standard booking system. It is something you know better than we do. We prefer to concentrate on what we know best – presenting your hideaway in the best light and finding suitable guests for you.
We are financing our website by annual listing fees. Without subscription or contract. You decide every year anew if you want to stay. The amount of the fee is based on the number of rooms/houses you offer. Our listing fee starts at 550 Euro for a simple holiday home. We will be happy to tell you more about what is included and how we work if you send us a quick email to email@example.com. We are looking forward to getting to know to many more beautiful hotels and holiday homes!
What can we do for you?
We are honest and authentic: Our loved-by seal
As all holiday spots on our page have been checked by us thoroughly and have been recommended, our readers know that your hide-away will meet their expectations. You and your place are the stars here! We do not use ready-made press releases. We try to understand the soul of your hideaway and find out about the nice little details. We avoid typical advertising language. We have an informal style with lots of humour – in a way a friend would recommend a hotel to someone.
You will be found!
Our map and search helps families to find exactly what they are looking for. Family facts such as “Is it possible to have an extra bed in the room?” or “Is there baby equipment?” are given for every hotel and holiday home. In our blog our readers also will find fitting hotel recommendations for every topic. Furthermore, we worked with SEO experts to optimize our page. We are happy to send you our media data. We have an interested community on all important social media channels. Many ways to contact your future clients….
In contact with your target group: You will be talked about
We are cooperating with many different magazines and bloggers, publish guest articles, give interviews as travel experts and recommend hotels. We are active in social media. Just have a look at our Facebook page and Instagram account! All our new hotels will be introduced to our community with posts. Furthermore, we reach our community with our popular newsletter that has extraordinarily opening rates from 40-50%.
By the way, if you want to learn more about our media data, please send an email to us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
